Did you know you are significant, have a purpose for your life, and that you are loved?
But Why Should I Be Loved? I’ve done nothing to deserve it….
Totally true. You haven’t done anything to deserve it.
In fact, you’ve probably done a lot of things to not deserve any love. You’ve probably even done things you’ve never told anyone else about. Or perhaps there are things you’ve done that cause you to not like yourself.
I’m sorry. I know life has been rough.
But! There’s hope.
You see. Life is tough. It’s true. It’s hard for everyone. Everyone has their own battles, struggles, and painful stories.
You’d think you were alone, but you’re not.
You’d think you’d have to figure out life all on your own, but you don’t.
You see…there’s hope for the hurt, the broken, the hungry, the thirsty, the sick, the grieved, and the sinner.
2000+ years ago, God in His kindness at the perfect time sent His Son Jesus to be born of a virgin (Woah!), announced by angels, seen by shepherds, and sought out by wise men from distant lands. This Jesus was foretold by many people through the ages until the time He arrived fulfilling hundreds of prophecies, proclaiming the good news that the Kingdom of God had arrived and was at hand, right in front of you, right here, right now, not some far off time or place, but here now. He came to set the captives free, heal the brokenhearted, bind up the wounded, bring good news to the poor, and bring forgiveness of sins, even to the point where you are washed clean from your sin as white as the most beautiful perfect snow you’ve ever seen.
Then after preaching the good news for 3 years, He laid down His life for yours. Because of your sin, you deserved was death, but He bore the burden you deserved, and paid the price you couldn’t pay, so you could receive the gift of life and His Spirit which you could never earn.
He invites you in His Kindness to receive grace and mercy from Him. He longs for relationship with you, and invites you into relationship with Him.
It’s true!
Receive Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. Call upon the name of Jesus today. Turn from your old way of thinking you can achieve salvation on your own, and allow Jesus to fill you with His Spirit. Come and follow Jesus all the days of your life, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
Jesus is the best one to be stuck to because once you’re stuck to Jesus, you’re stuck forever and nothing can separate you from His love, and that’s the best kind of sticker.
